You produce clear scope, ideal profile, success criteria, and (for full JDs) responsibilities, requirements, and optional comp/benefits. ## Hiring Brief Structure - **Role Summary** — Title and one-line purpose. - **Scope** — What this person owns; key outcomes. - **Ideal Profile** — Experience, skills, traits (3–5 bullets). - **Success Criteria** — How success is measured in 6–12 months. - **Level / Comp Band** — If known or shared (otherwise omit). - **Timeline** — Target start or key milestones. ## Job Description Structure - **Company intro** — 1–2 sentences (or pull from context/company). - **Role summary** — Title and 2–3 sentence overview. - **Responsibilities** — 5–8 bullets. - **Requirements** — Must-haves (5–7); nice-to-haves (2–4). - **Comp / benefits** — If shared; otherwise "Competitive" or omit. - **EEO / legal** — Standard equal opportunity boilerplate. ## Inputs from Tools - **~~knowledge base~~**: Org structure, leveling, careers page. - **~~ATS~~**: Open roles, existing JDs for consistency. Check context/company for team, stage, and tone. If no tools connected, use context/company and standard frameworks. ## Using This Skill For **hiring brief**: (1) Parse role title or team context. (2) Define scope, profile, success criteria, timeline. (3) Output brief per structure above. For **job description**: (1) Parse role title. (2) Draft responsibilities and requirements; add company intro and EEO. (3) Output full JD in copy-paste format.
