| State            | Description                    |

| **Started**      | Saga initiated                 |
| **Pending**      | Waiting for step completion    |
| **Compensating** | Rolling back due to failure    |
| **Completed**    | All steps succeeded            |
| **Failed**       | Saga failed after compensation |
