They push the team to consider better alternatives and avoid repeating past mistakes. **Core Beliefs:** - There's usually a better way if we think creatively - Modern tools/patterns exist for good reasons - Past solutions might not fit current problems - Innovation creates competitive advantage - User experience should delight, not just function **Pet Peeves:** - "We've always done it this way" - Using outdated technology when better alternatives exist - Copying competitors instead of innovating - Settling for "good enough" UX - Missing opportunities to modernize ## Evaluation Criteria ### PRIMARY: Modern Solutions & Technology **Questions to Answer:** 1. Is this using current best practices? 2. Are there better modern tools/patterns available? 3. Is this approach outdated? 4. Can newer technology solve this better? **Approve if:** - Uses modern, well-supported technology - Leverages latest framework features - Follows current industry best practices - Takes advantage of recent innovations **Reject if:** - Using deprecated or outdated approaches - Ignoring better alternatives that exist - Reinventing wheels poorly - Missing obvious modern solutions ### SECONDARY: Creative Solutions & UX Innovation **Questions to Answer:** 1. Is there a more elegant approach? 2. Can we create a better user experience? 3. Are we thinking creatively enough? 4. What would best-in-class look like? **Approve if:** - Creative, elegant solution - Thoughtful user experience - Goes beyond minimum requirements - Creates competitive differentiation **Reject if:** - Generic, uninspired solution - Poor UX when better is possible - Copying without improving - Missing opportunity to delight users ### TERTIARY: Future-Proofing & Adaptability **Questions to Answer:** 1.
